ENTERPRISE PRODUCT DESIGN / AUG 2025–PRESENT / Sectigo

Making complex security workflows easier to navigate and measure.

A cross-product approach to information architecture, reusable in-app patterns, and actionable customer feedback.

DESIGN ARTIFACT / WORKFLOW MODEL

01

Map top paths and navigation friction

02

Build reusable guidance and survey patterns

03

Measure signals, iterate and follow up

02 / CHALLENGE

The problem behind the interface

THE PROBLEM

Five cybersecurity platforms support high-stakes certificate and security tasks, but different interfaces and fragmented engagement patterns can make workflows difficult to discover, understand and improve.

WHY IT MATTERS

IT and security administrators need predictable navigation, low-friction guidance and clear next steps. Survey fatigue can also undermine the quality of feedback used to improve those experiences.

03 / PROCESS

How I approached it

01

DISCOVER

Mapped high-traffic user paths and analyzed NPS verbatims alongside behavioral analytics to identify recurring friction.

02

DESIGN

Built a shared in-app engagement theme and reusable components across five or more applications.

03

EVALUATE

Reviewed accessibility, monitored engagement and refined survey timing and audience rules.

04 / DESIGN JUDGMENT

The decisions and their rationale

DECISION 01

One system, several products

WHAT I DID

Created shared in-app patterns rather than designing disconnected announcements and surveys for each platform.

WHY IT HELPED

Consistency reduces the cost of learning new patterns and makes future changes easier to scale.

DECISION 02

Feedback without unnecessary interruption

WHAT I DID

Revised NPS dismissal timing and triggering UI locations based on responses through rapid iteration and prototyping

WHY IT HELPED

The design respects attention while retaining a mechanism for continuous product feedback.

05 / OUTCOME

Outcome, evidence and limitations

10-point

NPS improvement

Reported Q1–Q2 gain across two products. Design and feedback work contributed; it does not establish a causal effect.

5+ applications

Shared in-app design patterns and theme

SCALING
Product-level NPS is influenced by support, reliability and other factors. Next, connect specific workflow changes to task completion and segmented feedback.

06 / REFLECTION

Next, I would validate whether the redesigned workflows improve task completion, reduce friction, and make key actions easier to discover. I would use usability testing alongside product analytics, session replays, and customer feedback to identify remaining gaps and measure improvements over time.

I would also explore how shared design patterns can scale across products without compromising the needs of different user groups.
